Slowly, but surely Americans are being forced to be bi-lingual in their own language. The more savvy of us refer to it as being, “Politically Correct” or PC, while many of us just call it what it is, “Lying.”
The latest of these crazes is to change “Job Killing,” to “Job Destroying” when speaking of Obamacare. It seems that since the Arizona shootings we need to remove such words as “Killing,” from our vocabulary because of the obvious connection between Obamacare and Arizona.
Should our ever so busy politicians want to really be “Politically Correct,” I have a suggestion. If accepted it will make things much more transparent for the American People, and it will pad lock a lot of our political back rooms.
Every time a politician wants to pass a bill he or she should have to say, “This bill will force taxpayers to shell out more of their hard earned money so we can use it for others who do not pay taxes, “ or “This bill will force taxpayers to shell out more of their hard earned money so my friend’s construction company will make a huge chunk of change and donate to my re-election campaign.”
After all, the phrase, “This bill will provide for……” is a lie. Bills do not provide a thing for anyone, taxpayers do after being forced by the government. Also, “We are going to help these folks get back on their feet with these low interest loans, is yet another lie.
“We,” as spoken by members of congress, do not help anyone. To make it really PC they would have to say, “We’re going to make you help these folks so we can feel pretty good about our otherwise useless existence, and guarantee ourselves re-election from the people we are bankrolling with other people’s money.”
The smoothness with which our politicians use such phrasing is something to behold. Their manipulation of the English Language is that of masters. In other words, they are some of the world’s best liars, and they also rank highly on the scale of thieves. This includes both major parties.
As for the TEA Party, we can only hope that our people do not learn the language of Frankfort or Washington, but instead retain the ability to speak out of just one side of their mouths. The danger that poses the most damning threat to the liberty and freedom of this country is our own acceptance of the politically correct explanations spewing from our own government.
If you believe our nation to be one founded upon Christian principles you must also believe the majority of our politicians are bound for hell. If you believe this nation to be a nation of laws you must also agree that far too many of our politicians have escaped the gallows.
Two prime examples of politically correct actions involving stealing and lying are Obamacare and Cap and Trade. The over two thousand page Obamacare fiasco was not read by the majority of the people who forced it down our throats, and it contained special deals for politicians who were reluctant to vote for it. Special deals not granted “all the people.”
Cap and Trade would benefit the power companies by allowing them to sell their carbon credits to other industries so they could operate. The bill would serve no purpose but to put a burden on the taxpayers who work to support their families, and would do absolutely nothing to help the environment. Those carbon credits would still be used, but it was politically correct at the time it was voted on in the House.
Politically Correct and lying go hand in hand. Were it just the average person on the street it could be overlooked, or dealt with on a personal basis. That it has become the standard operating procedure of our elected officials is a threat to all we hold dear.
