Bi-Partisan-Bad Partisan

Just when you think our congressmen and women couldn’t possibly go any lower some fool brings a shovel and down they go. Sitting together at the State of the Union Address? Come on, do they actually think they were fooling the public?

The truth of this mess is that the establishment losers who shared seating arrangements with those from “Across the isle,” were exhibiting their plastic, show business tendencies. John McCain would have French kissed Nancy Pelosi if he could have quit smiling at the president long enough.

Anyone who actually believes in liberty, private enterprise, and freedom probably felt the need for a shower after watching the event. All those establishment types hugged up to the words of yet another Obama speech, I tell you it was scary.

When you see that kind of “togetherness” you have to know your nation is not safe, your tax dollars are about to be squandered, and your children and grandchildren are about to become more valuable, to the Chinese.

A coal operator in eastern Kentucky once said, “You’re nobody here until you’re a million dollars in debt. That way the bankers keep up with your wellbeing all the time.” Our descendents may soon be getting welfare calls from Beijing.

The president fell back to the “Politically Correct” way of announcing more spending when he chimed in with the term “Invest.” “We need to invest in this…we need to invest in that……we need to invest in the future for our children….”

The proper and honest thing for him to have said was, “The American Taxpayer needs to spend more of their hard earned money on bureaucratic nonsense,” but the temptation to lie must have been too great to overcome.

The results of politicians working together are clearly evident in Kentucky. Steve Beshear and David Williams have been working together, and Kentucky’s last place rating in state management is the proof. In fact, Williams’ candidacy for the office now held by Beshear must have been a shock to the emotional stability of the governor. He had to feel like a jilted lover.

Throw in the great “Forked Tongued Speaker,” Greg Stumbo, and you’ve got a trilateral mess, kiting checks in order to claim a balanced budget. The bottom line is never really the bottom line in Kentucky.

The State of the Union Address showed one thing that cannot be denied. The establishment politicians are running scared. They can see that things are going bad for them by the new faces in the crowd, and that dreadful word, “TEA.”

People like Kentucky Senator Rand Paul who wants to slash wasteful programs and disrupt the way business is done. After all, the way business has been done is the reason we are in such a dismal financial state, and the thoughts of losing their sugar tit is leaving a sour taste in their mouths. How can they be expected to get re-elected if they can’t use taxpayer money with which to buy votes?

It was wonderful to know the people had spoken, and many of the problem creators were not in attendance thanks to the 2010 election. More of them need to be shown the door, and through the efforts of the TEA Party it could well happen.

Kentucky has the great opportunity to make such a change in the upcoming gubernatorial election. Once again the nation’s eyes are on our state to see if the TEA Party and the people can show up by electing Phil Moffett. The spirit that has caused sunshine to return to a dreary time in our history needs to continue through the movement that is pushing the clouds of politics out to sea.

Kentucky has been one of the shining stars to which America is looking for guidance through example. God willing we will continue in the right direction by refusing to accept any more of the "Tired Old Party" candidates. Electing Phil Moffett will show the nation that Kentucky will not reaffirm bi-partisan failure.
